Audio Speaker Support
Audio speakers can come in all sizes and shapes. They can also come preinstalled on your motherboard or internal speakers mounted within the housing of a laptop. But many people today prefer to purchase external speakers even for their laptops to get better and / or louder sound. Most external computer speakers hook up with a simple stereo micro jack / plug which plugs into the sound card input; which many computers have colored green.
Some external speakers also require extra power in order to work as well; meaning they have to be plugged into an electrical socket in order to turn them on.
Some typical problems with audio speakers are:
- No sound comes from the speakers.
- The stereo speakers produce cracking or static sounds.
- Loud pop or crack when turning on computer.
- Interference with cordless phones and ham radios resulting in hearing people talking through your speakers.
- Low computer speaker volume.
- Loud humming sounds?
- Very poor sound quality.
- Won’t work with all programs.
- Sound cuts out and comes back on and cuts out again.
